At my 90 day review, my current boss just told me how incompatible accounting was with my personality. He said that instead of pursuing my CPA, I should be pursuing an MBA. I said to him, “What is a better way to learn about business? By studying sensitive financial data that will show you exactly how and why a real world company is profitable…or spend two years with a bunch of arrogant MBA’s stroking their over-inflated egos?”My bossï»¿ is an MBA…and I still have my job.
